Antiqua Shiraz 2018
Bold and full-bodied, vibrant aromas of savoury cherry, blackberry and fine spices. Soft, tannins and a subtle earthiness.
A combination of hand and machine harvesting of selected fruit-driven parcels from mostly cooler parts of McLaren Vale. Matured in French Oak barrels for twelve to fourteen months prior to bottling.
Region: McLaren Vale
"A top producer from a thrilling Vintage weaving magic with McLaren Vale Shiraz, what is not to love? And it more than lives up to the billing. Throw in that it is well under thirty bucks? Stock up now and go big. A deep red/maroon. This is a cracking old vine McLaren Vale Shiraz. Complex, intense and bursting with flavour. Chocolate, black fruits, leather, liquorice, cassis and dry herbs – more than a bit special. Finely balanced and even with all the power, this retains some refinement. Then very long with a wonderfully supple texture. A wine that delivers in every respect. Drink now or over the next decade. Just delicious."

"A splendid fruit attack of blackberries and plums combined with cedar, cured meat and anise nuances, it’s concentrated and dense yet refined and supple with a lengthy silky finish. Gorgeously styled with textured mouthfeel and seamlessly woven chalky tannins."
