Dona Shiraz

Vibrant aromas of mixed red and dark berries, plums, aniseed, and hints of cloves. Medium weight palate with fresh berry fruit, spices and dark chocolate notes on the finish. Soft, savoury tannins and a subtle earthiness.

A selection of parcels from mostly cooler parts of McLaren Vale with a combination of hand and machine harvesting. Matured in seasoned French Oak for fourteen months prior to blending and bottling.

"Superbly ripe and inviting, the bouquet shows mixed berry compote, vanilla, cedar and warm spice aromas on the nose, leading to a wonderfully flavoursome palate offering excellent fruit intensity backed by silky texture and supple tannins."

"Good winemaking here with a decent mix of fruit and oak to make a crowd pleasing style. Bright deep ruby in colour, it delivers ripe and generous mulberry fruit aromas with a dusting of tar and spice. The palate is then fleshy and soft with layers of fruit pastilles and toasty oak plus good concentration and length. No complaints here and well suited to your next spaghetti Bolognese."
