Native Goose Pinot Noir 2020

The warm summers in Blewitt Springs, South Australia are often accompanied by the arrival of magnificent Cape Barren geese. Since 1999 Cape Barren have been producing exceptional wines that capture the essence of the McLaren Vale region’s distinctive flavours.

Our Pinot Noir opens with vibrant aromas of cherry, raspberry, and wild strawberry, accompanied by subtle earthy notes and a hint of spice. On the palate, it is light to medium-bodied with fresh acidity, showcasing juicy red berry flavours, gentle herbal undertones, and a delicate touch of oak. The finish is long and refined with fine tannins and lingering fruit.
