Pale lemon with green reflections. Aromas of pear, apple and white peach are lifted by floral notes and a touch of citrus zest. The bouquet is bright, delicate and inviting. The palate is fresh and vibrant with juicy orchard fruit, crisp acidity and a soft, rounded mouthfeel. Subtle mineral notes add finesse before a clean refreshing textural finish.

Delicately fragrant and inviting with notes of green rockmelon, ripe pear, Gala apple, and green tea. The palate offers lovely focus and persistence, well supported by racy acidity, leading to a lengthy, crisp-dry finish. At its best: now to 2030.

This is quite a delicate style, but that can be slightly deceptive as there’s good flavour intensity in the fruit sourced from Padthaway and Reschke’s Rat & Bull vineyards, with a little from the Limestone Coast. Distinctive varietal apple crumble and cut pear with that edgy lemony zip. A very complete wine with a lovely mouthfeel and texture.
