It's splendidly fruited and aromatic on the nose, showing Gala apple, green rockmelon, lemon zest, and herbaceous notes, followed by a lively palate filled with succulent fruit flavours, well supported by bright acidity, leading to a lengthy, vibrant finish. At its best: now to 2030.

The fruit for this appealing Sauvignon Blanc hails from two vineyards, one in the Limestone Coast region, and the other from the red dirt of the Terra Rosa strip in Coonawarra. Extraordinary to think we are already seeing wines from the 2026 vintage. Needless to say, this did not undergo extended maturation. Fermentation was in stainless steel tanks, and the wine was bottled early to retain its vibrancy.

The colour here is so pale that it is near transparent. The wine offers delightfully fresh and attractive tropical notes with passionfruit to the fore. That is supported by hints of mango and some citrusy touches. There is fine acidity here, and the wine has surprising length and a lingering finish. To be enjoyed over the next two to three years.
