Deep purple with vibrant crimson hues. Aromas of ripe blackberry, plum and blueberry are joined by black pepper, liquorice and hints of dark chocolate. The palate is medium-bodied with juicy black fruit flavours, supple tannins and balanced acidity. Touches of cocoa and American oak add complexity before a smooth finish. Generous fruit is balanced by subtle spice. A wine for every BBQ occasion.

★★★★★ A fruit-forward Shiraz delivering generous flavour and excellent value.

This is fruit-forward and fragrant on the nose, showing dark plum, rich floral, liquorice, and mixed spice aromas. The palate is equally appealing with a supple mouthfeel and juicy fruit intensity, finishing long and pleasingly dry. At its best: now to 2029.

South Australian Shiraz from Terra Rosa soils which saw skin contact for between ten and eighteen days before a fermentation ensuring less than one gram/litre residual sweetness in the wine. Maturation was in French and American oak hogsheads. We are also advised that it is 76 calories per serve. Deeply coloured with aromas of chocolate, damp earth, black fruits, coffee grinds, licorice, bay leaves and mushrooms, there are hints of a savoury style here. An attractively supple texture through to slightly chalky tannins, the wine is of medium length. Enjoyable drinking and it is certainly not lacking in flavour, it should continue to provide pleasure over the next half dozen years.
