A beautifully composed Coonawarra Shiraz brimming with blackberry, ripe plum and gentle spice. The nose is fragrant and inviting, with notes of dark cherry, mocha and a touch of vanilla bean. The palate flows effortlessly from plush fruit to polished structure, delivering layers of juicy black fruits, subtle oak and a hint of cocoa. Tannins are smooth and supportive, carrying through to a fresh, lively finish that lingers with purity and persistence.

Cracking value to be had here with this Limestone Coast Shiraz. The colour is a dark blood red with a magenta rim. The nose reveals notes of blackberries, chocolate, coffee grinds, cloves, beef stock and plums. There are mouthcoating though gentle tannins and very good length here. A juicy style which has impressive persistence. There is something very appealing about boldness of this wine. Six to eight years.
